Affi is a Mumbai-based hotelier and part-time rap artist. He believes in rapping about only what he feels. He also tries to write songs that people can relate to their life. He majored in Mass Media but later got involved in his elder brother’s hotel business. He told us about his philosophy in life which is “Friends and Family over anything”. He tells us that music has and will always be his companion. It’s a taste of what life has to offer. With his aspirations in place, he looks forward to making it big in the Indian Hip Hop Scene. The track ‘ Lagi Aag ‘ is based on what a teenager faces on day to day basis in today’s generation. Struck between career love and family problems.
Vernon D’souza – With You
Vernon D’Souza hails from Asansol, West Bengal but currently lives in Mumbai. He began singing at the age of 5. ‘ With You’ is a song he wrote in the year 2020 and it is the first love song he’s written. The track is about assurance, peace and enjoying the little things in life with your beloved. This track is a ballroom song and it is one that will get you in the mood to slow dance. The track was brilliantly arranged by Souvik Adak and was completed over Skype sessions that lasted around 3-4 hours. Vernon’s friend, Ralph Fernandes has been kind enough to play the amazing guitar strokes you hear on the track and Rhys Sebastian, with the amazing Saxophone Solo. The song has been brilliantly mixed and mastered by Debaprasad Tewary. The beautiful visuals you see have been painstakingly shot by in Taiwan by Pubali Chatterjee and her Husband Shadab Khalil.
Divyansh Gupta – Adhoora
Divyansh Gupta is a singer/songwriter from Jaipur, Rajasthan who has been carving his way into the indie music scene of India. He has been writing and producing music for the last three years and now is enrolled to complete his diploma from Point Blank Music School. His latest track, “Adhoora” is about the feeling of incomplete, It’s about reminiscing the memories of the special person you once had but don’t anymore. It’s all about accepting the mistakes and trying to bring that person back into your life to finally feel complete.
