Rotten Kitten – Catabolism ( Album )
Rotten Kitten is a band from Thane, India that was formed in March 2021, just before the second Covid lockdown. Despite being confined to their homes, the members of Rotten Kitten were able to collaborate remotely and work on their debut album, Catabolism.
Catabolism speaks to the many struggles that people face in life, particularly those that often go unspoken and remain hidden in the shadows of society. The album’s title, “Catabolism,” refers to the breakdown of complex structures into simpler ones, a metaphor for the process of overcoming these struggles.
Rotten Kitten’s music combines elements of rock, metal, and alternative, creating a unique and powerful sound. The band is dedicated to creating meaningful and relatable music that speaks to the human experience.
