I’m pretty sure we all remember the time when WWE Wrestlemania was a big thing. Interestingly, Adityan Singh found his inspiration to be a musician from the 2016 title track ‘I Hate Everything about You’ by Three Days Grace. This is where he decided to start making music, leading up to his first eight-track studio album ‘Feelings’ in 2018 which consisting of both Hindi and English songs. The 21-year old singer-songwriter hails from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and was settled in Mumbai until the pandemic broke out and he had to migrate back home.
Adityan’s latest single ‘Zaroorat Hai Teri’ was released on December 31, 2020 and is from his new album ‘Chaahat’. It’s an emotional love song which talks about two lovers who are kept apart by their antiquated lifestyles. The song started off as a simple piano melody and the lyrics written around it. Adityan has been working on this album since the past year in his bedroom studio since the pandemic made it hard to access recording studio.
The music video and album artwork has been directed and produced by Halfmoon Creations (Ravi Mishra).
Over the past 5 years, Adityan has been passionately working toward making more music which his listeners can relate to. He says that each album he produces is a chapter in his life and reflects his thoughts, experiences and emotions from each phase. He is currently working on his next album – ‘Safar’, which will take about both his journey and hardships over the past year or so. He plans to release a single each month. His musical infuences include Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, Arjit Singh, Atif Aslam and Pritam. He’d love to work with artists like Darshan Raval and Enrique Iglesias.
