The song is part of ‘SoundChk Season 2,’ an initiative by renowned Bollywood composers Salim-Sulaiman under Merchant Records. The Story Behind “Tasveerein”
“Tasveerein” was born out of personal grief, with Varun Rajput penning the lyrics as a tribute to his late father. The song’s Hindi and Urdu lyrics delve into the fleeting nature of life and the memories that linger long after loved ones have departed. Initially composed as a demo in just two hours, the track underwent a six-month evolution, with each band member contributing their talents to elevate it into a polished final version. The result is a track that’s as sonically rich as it is emotionally resonant.
Joining Varun Rajput (lead vocals and guitars) on this journey are Shrikant Biswakarma (guitars), Arko Ganguly (drums), and Tanshuman Das (bass). Together, they have crafted a song that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.
