‘Cloud 9,’ his latest release talks about the feeling of being insufficient. Released on the 18th of November, it has Shreya Bhattacharya, a close friend of Ray and Bernard Dafney, an actor, singer, director and acting coach, on the vocals. Bhattacharya is a graduate of Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music and is known for her versatile singing techniques like jazz, RnB, and Neo-Soul. Bernard Dafney, on the other hand, is the owner of Dafney Productions in Mumbai and has performed in several events and has been featured on the TV series ‘The Great Indian Murder.’
The pop song talks about living through the hardest of days but still being able to hold onto joy, the greatest of all medicines. It speaks of thriving instead of just surviving with the help of family and friends, thus giving a nod to Ray’s own experience during the pandemic. It was produced by Brandon Bee and Nelda Studios.
Stay tuned for more such lovely songs and collaborations from the artist!
