Learn more about life while listening to Kefinama’s Latest single ‘Zindagi’

Vandit Sharma who goes by the stage name Kefinama is an Indie Singer/Songwriter from Faridabad, Haryana. He was always into music but never understood its true effect on his life until later in life. He has studied engineering and he started making music in January 2021, while going through a bad phase in his life. He channeled his energy into music to help him get through things and soon realized that he has a knack for the talent and started to release more of his inner self, sung into words. His debut track Dooriyan helped him put all his emotions into a song that helped him gain inner peace and that’s a feeling he wants to continue having and sharing with all his listeners.

His third single ‘Zindagi’ was released on 16th July 2021 and it’s just the beginning of his journey of being honest to himself and expressing his true self to the world. The song depicts different phases of life and how every phase of life teaches us a valuable lesson to take on. He tells us “I came up with this song during this rough covid phase when even I was going through a lot. The lyrics are actually what I felt and what my parents were constantly reminding me to help me battle this phase of my life. I wish to spread this support/reminder with this song to all those in need.” The lyrics were penned down in 2-3 days then a few more days to compose the melody and guitar. The whole song was ready after a month. So it took nearly a month to finish the final track and it was recorded at Noisy Gates Studio, Faridabad.

Kefinama got his first guitar in 2007 and has been playing his guitar since a young age, but it’s now that he has decided to start his own career in it. Being a school and college performer, he’s gained the confidence he needed to now gradually make it to the bigger stages. He takes inspiration from John Mayor, Porcupine trees, The Local Train, James Arthur, James Blunt, Prateek Kuhad, and many more that add to his versatile platter of influences.
