The track is all about expressing the love, dedication, and sacrifices one makes for the person they love. The lyrics are a beautiful portrayal of the efforts one puts in to make their loved one’s dreams come true, and how they let go of their ego to see them happy. The music and vocals have a subtle touch of major lazer, French Montana, and Swaa Lee’s styles.

Shubham started his journey as a musician in 2020 and took three months to produce, record, mix, and master the track. The interesting part about the recording process is that the song was made over zoom calls. Shubham only visited the studio once to record the vocals and never met his producer, mixing and mastering engineer in person.

The artwork for the song was also created by Shubham himself. His musical influences include artists like Arijit Singh, Drake, Metro Boomin, Ap Dhillon and Team, Scott Storch, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Kanye West, 6lack, Lil Wayne, Linkin Park, and AR Rahman.

When asked about his favorite quote, Shubham said, “Koi bhi baat kabhi itnee nahin bigadti ki ussey theek na ki jaa sakey, agar aap debate nahin discuss karein to, with honesty.” He strongly believes in honesty and discussing things with an open mind to find a solution.

Apart from music, Shubham is also a businessman and loves to dress nicely. He cannot imagine his life without music, the people he loves, his car, and a good dressing sense. His morning routine includes pranayama, yoga, and meditation, followed by riyaaz. He usually starts his day at the office at around 11:30 or 12:00.

In the future, Shubham would love to collaborate with Ap Dhillon, Badshah, and Divine from India, and Sam Smith, Travis Scott, and Metro Boomin from abroad.

Shubham Rastogi’s “Tu hi bata” is a beautiful love song that will resonate with many listeners. His dedication to his craft and the passion he puts into his music is evident in the final product. Keep an eye out for more music from this talented artist in the future.
